Ford Galaxy Mk3 Headlamps Flickering

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

Can anyone help??

I have a mark 3 ford galaxy 1.8 which has done 33000 mile and just had a new dual mass fly wheel? Which i find strange as the car has no tow bar.

Anyway that has now been sorted but I have a problem with the head lamps. They flick off and then come back on again. I turn the lights on at night and they just turn off then come back on again just for a split second and they do this at different intervals, usually do it more from cold but they can do it at any point. All the earths have been checked but they still are flicking.

Any Ideas would be much apprciated.

Thanks

James

Hi,

I have a similar problem with mine.

If I leave the side lights on at night whilst I pay for fuel I ALWAYS see the rear light switch off an on for a split second........everytime I fill up!?

I have friends with the same car and ALL have the same issue.

No idea what causes it but its looks like a manufacturing issue
