Asian/australian Front Grill For A Zs

Featured Replies

Hey, new here :P so hey guys.

I've been looking around and see than there's a different front grill for the Asian/Australian Fiesta's that I quite like the look of linked below;

Anyone know if there's anywhere of getting these a bit cheaper? Not totally wanting to pay all that for them if it can be avoided, and how easy would it be to fit? Do they just pop off or is it some silly big job?

Thanks.

I think Lez has a couple to sell.

I have that grill on mine, you are correct in that it just pops off and stick the new one in ;)

Lez has 2 left I think......

I have one too :D

Being new, who's Lez? I really want one of those grills :P

Can you get it with the chrome trim on it or does the existing chrome trim fit?

By the looks Rog, I don't think the chrome trim will fit mate.....

Doesn't come with chrome trim either that I'm aware of, also its not chrome inserts its aluminium/brushed chrome effect not a shiny finish like yours. So wouldn't be a great match either.

Lez is a fellow member on FOC, go to your messenger and drop him a PM, just search for username 'Lez'

Grille is £82 delivered.

Can't complain at £82 including delivery, I'll drop him a message ^.^ thanks.

And I think the chrome will fit if bought seperately, I seem to recall earlier seeing one with the chrome surround, although it seemed a bit much.

EDIT: Found it http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-FIESTA-mk7-ja8-7-Lippe-Frontansatz-Diffusor-Frontspoiler-/310350105513?pt=DE_Autoteile&hash=item48424ecba9#ht_3268wt_1163

Cheers Darrell. Looking at the photo of the one on your car it gives a better angle than on the suppliers website and I can see there is no gap for the chrome.

My Titanium has quite a few bits of chrome (grille, window strip, foglights, kickplates, boot handle, etc) so I need to think about chrome or not chrome....

I don't want to say for sure, but there's a chrome surround here; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230726294735&category=43118&_trksid=p5197.c0.m619#ht_714wt_1163

Not sure if the chrome is separate on the titanium grill or not.

I also got one from Lez =]

Mine's a titanium and it doesn't look too bad although I am thinking about getting it chrome plated at some point if it's not too expensive

I ordered mine from him now :P.

The vent pieces look good in chrome with the chrome fog's, really finishes them off, been beating around some other sites and there's a few in the Philippines with them chromed.

Looks ok, but some Day time running lights in them and your talking. Would look 10x better if the "intake" effect when to fill the triangle above it (to the sides of the number plate).

I like it as it is, but that wouldn't look too bad either. Have thought of DRL's but not sure, going to see if I can get some that fit well, if not then I won't bother, only doing one or two subtle mods :P

Looks good! I do have an additional complication - front parking sensors....

Hmm I don't think it'd be a major headache if you know how to remove them and refit them so much, and drill in where they are now into the new grill, however if not so confident, I'm sure Ford would do it for you, or a cheaper option being a local garage/body shop.

You are quite right - However, it does mean the costs are rising....

Not sure on the DRL's myself, they do look good just the extra effort, plus I run with headlights on most of the time (habbit), I like the black below the gril although might not look right on mine being silver.

Question: Where did you get the upper grill S badge?

  • Author

Ah thanks :P so it's just a stick on? Only asking because I saw some ST ones that had a sort of plate to secure them to the grill.

Yeah it's got a sticky pad on the back.

Ah ok, had been thinking of something like buying this;

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-ST-GRILL-BADGE-FIESTA-FOCUS-CHROME-RED-METAL-/280808768004?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item416181c204#ht_2585wt_1177

which has a little plate, then putting on an S instead of ST :P
