Mk7 Fiesta Lighting ?

Featured Replies

hi

im wanting to change a few bulbs in my car to better looking ones .

i want whiter lights for the sidelights/headlights/footwell ?

for headlights i was going to go 6000k hid but decided against this as i dont want unwanted fuzz pulling me over all the time .

so asking for advise on which bulbs are best ?

thanks.

Hi

I had Philips Bluevisions dipped beam on my fiesta , you dont get a blue tint despite the name but it is a much whiter light , perhaps more of a style bulb than performance though?.

You cant go wrong with Philips x-treme vision bulbs for the full beam , great performance and a whiter light.

all road legal.

I recently got some bluevision ultras for my focus which came with a free set of bluevision sidelights which also take that orange bulb effect away and some osram nightbreakers for my full beam , they are slightly cheaper than the x-tremes and very good also , I think the philips x-tremes are a little better though ,but only just.

for headlights i was going to go 6000k hid but decided against this as i dont want unwanted fuzz pulling me over all the time .

I feel so hurt that you don't want me - sob!!-

Seriously now, there's a lot of blue/white bulbs available, as long as they're E marked you won't have any trouble at all.

HID no higher than 6000k and properly adjusted should be fine, as long as you don't meet one of my bretheren who is bored/overzealous.

From what i understand though, HID ballasts are a bit sensitive and need placing very carefully to avoid moisture and vibration.

I'd stick to Nightbreakers or Super brilliance (50%).

I'm planning to change my standard light units for a set with CCFL (angel eyes/halo) fitted.

I think they look smart and modern.

What about these for a touch of style?

halford have just released a new range of ''ultra brilliance'' light bulbs upto 120 % brighter , i just brought some and im quite impressed how white the light is :) and there bogof at the moment

In my fiesta I've got the Ultra Power Bulbs and they are epic, give a brighter, whiter light which actually gets brighter once the bulbs have been used for a bit

Now I got mine from halfords but I will include a link below to a website that does them a bit cheaper.

You'll be after H7 for your dipped beams, H1 for your main beams and 501 for your side lights

p.s. look at the silver tech indicator bulbs
