2012 Focus Headlight Condensation

Featured Replies

Hi guys, my friend has just bought a brand new 2012 Focus (lucky girl) but she's a little worried about condensation inside the head lights, she's only had the car 2 days is it something that will dry out or should she return to the Ford main dealer?

thanks,

Get ford to change it. After all it brand new

im afraid that wont work due to cold weather and the heat from the bulbs misting is inevitable and ford will tell you as stated in the manual misting in these conditions is normal and a drive of approx 30 mins with lights on will cure it.

the plastic gets warm from the heat from the bulb add that to minus conditions outside its only natural there will be mist hot surface against freezing air by all means take it in but im sure youll get the same answer

Hi, +1 above...

Chris
