I've not long had my mk7, I've just put 16 inch rims on it I can't decide how low to lower it. I was thinking 45mm is this a good amount to lower a mk7?

    Mine is 30mm which is just fine and looks good not too low i.e slammed.

    Here is mine when it was lowered on ap coilovers so you can see the difference between standard and pretty much as low as they will go.DSC_0138.jpg

    Low looks good but better watch you don't hit the kerbs and damage your pride and joy.

    My wife has just done this on our standard suspension and cracked the bottom of the bumper and chrome strip.
