Will I Need To Input Radio Code?

Featured Replies

I am going to fit an aux lead to my 6000cd ford radio, i have to unplug the connection on the rear of the radio to plug in the aux plug.

Will i need to input the rdio code after unplugging for a short time or will it be ok?

if you disconect the power you will need to input the radio code, so make sure you have it.

thanks, yes i have the code.......is that the security code on the card?

Yes the card has your code on it.

Just checking though- has the radio ever been changed or recoded?

Just making sure the code is right.

Good idea also - while you have the radio out make a note of the serial number - it will begin with a v or an m.

Even better photograph the whole label for reference.
