* Fiesta Mk7 "fuel Flap" Issues

Hi

I've been having more and more problems trying to open the fuel flap when I need to refuel.

When I arrive at the petrol station, I press on the flap and it does not open and I end up just pressing it randomly on various parts of the flap and, up until now, it has eventually opened. But I know that there will come a day when it won't open.

Can any members tell me if they have a solution for this or, does Ford have a 'fix' available?

    I took mine in under warranty for this and they greased the fitting.

    My current permament fix is to whack it with my fist to 'shock' it open.
