Engine Clicking Noise.

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, Noticed this about half an hour ago. When I was parked up at a friends house (with the engine still running) I herd a clicking noise come from my engine (only once) then about 2-3 minutes later it clicked again and continued to click every 2-3 minutes. Even when driving it does it.

Any ideas? Is this normal?

Thanks

Did you have the aircon turned on? If you didn't know already it comes on itself when you set the blower to the windscreen. This makes a clicking sound every so often as it engages/disengages so could well be what you're hearing.

I cant recall having the air con on. i did turn the blowers on at one point, but then later turned them off so wouldnt that turn the a/c off too?

Couldn't say for sure, I'll have to check mine later. You could always take it to a dealer for them to have a quick look at, it is under warranty after all!
