Rokos have you tried it and what does it do? , is it just a scanning software or can it do anything?

Paul is a scanning software but the real time view has many parameters as quantity of each injector, preinjection and finally it can code injectors and i think keys. That is all i know. I try to connect with ELM327 but did not recognised it.

I am not sure, maybe civill can find what type of chip is supported by the software, or He is able to modify software to recognise ELM327, You have to be a computer programmer to do those thinks...

Which software are you refering too ELMFF2 or ELMconfig ?

i had the same trouble mate,

you need to download the file and save it to your windows folder, the one in your C drive

Elmconfig look powerful but complex and Elm-ff2 easy and simple. ^____^....

i would really really love to have the global closing and global opening feature on my 5 door focus,

i have tried to activate it with the software and ELM 327,

but the windows wont work, and i only have electric windows in the front, and manual wind ups in the back,

is their any way i can trick the gem to thinking they are all electric and get it to operate the global feature. :(

Turn off the car and pull indicator stalk to the rear as if to flash high beams.

Lights should come on and stay lit for about one minute after the car is locked.

no mate,

it feels like the switch is their for it,

because when i pull it back their is two steps in it,

sort of first step flashes the headlights then further back it does nothing, but i can feel it pressing.

Hey, so I got an elm cable and switch about a week ago. Managed to rewire the cable to allow the switching function. I am a complete novice at electricals, but had no problem at all. Very easy to follow guide, thanks a lot guys :)

Cool , so what did you turn On/Off ?

Okay so got the auto door locking working, I think that's a really good feature. Turned on the Eco mode thing with the 'flowers', not so sure about that. The shift up light comes on with ignition for a few seconds, but doesn't come on when in high revs. I have also activated the dash display to clone the stereo and phone commands. Tried out that reverse bleeped and grr that's anoying :P

Would like to get parking sensors fitted and try to get them wired to work like oem, as they can be activated.

Overall think this is a great bit of software :)
