found some fluid on this along the seam at the right side. dont know if its a leak or from somewhere else.dont even know what it is.

its got something to do with the engine brake and its not meant to be there but fixed to the bulkhead just to the rear and right of the power steering resevoir put it where it should be and that should sort it

That is a vac box it stores vac to run all the solenoids turbo and egr

should still be mounted on the bulkhead mate

I have the same car, mine is mounted in the same place as yours.

Cannot imagine that its mounting location would affect it, its basically an empty box.

Is it just a "1.8 TDCI" thing? My 2.0 TDCI doesn't have that box there...
