Fiesta Mk7- Ecu Reset

Can somebody tell me how do I reset the ECU on a mk7 Fiesta? Need to do that so the car picks up new data after a few mods....

I was wondering could it be done by unplugging the battery leads for 20-30 minutes? And will there be any negative side effects like audio system not working etc.?

    The reset method you stated is correct.

    Just be sure that if your radio requires a code that you have it available to unlock the radio after reconnection.

    From what I heard, the mk7 Fiesta doesnt require a radio code,unlike the mk6 :)

    So,what you are saying is that there should be no negative side-effects from reseting the ECU?

    Once you reset the ECU just take it for a good drive around to allow it to relearn your driving style and everything should be A1.

    I'm just curious, as to what the Mods are...sounds intriguing, i may want to copy.

    Unfortunately unlike the earlier fords you can't reset your ECU the old way by disconnecting the battery supply you have to use an IDS system

    New air intake system, complete exhaust, plug leads and a few other things.....

    Frederick Smith, are you sure? I have read on a few topics that guys managed to reset the Fiesta ECU by disconnecting the battery
