Fuel Cap Lid Problem

Hi everyone

I've just taken ownership of my new fiesta and I think there is an issue with the fuel cap lid.

When I close it over I believe it is meant to 'click' shut however mine seems to just stay loose.

Am I doing something wrong?

    After having done a bit more research I think Ford have recently changed the design of the petrol flap as mine has a groove to put your finger in to open it out. Looking at pics of other Fiesta's on this site the groove is absent.

    This must be Ford's solution to the sticking cap that so many people have had with the original design. Does it actually click shut when you push it then?

    Nope it doesn't click shut or fasten.

    Seems kinda flimsy... oh well.
