Missing Parts From A Brand New Zetec Fiesta?

Featured Replies

Hi there. I got my new fiesta zetec today and i beleive the engine cover is missing, as there are 3 bolt wholes in the top of the engine head? Can any body verify or post a pic of there engine bays? Mines only a 1.25 but its my first car (:

Not sure but I don't think the 1.2 has an engine cover fitted

Fiesta's do not seem to come with an engine cover apart from some Titanium models unless I'm mistaken?

Just some cost-cutting from Ford :)

The zetec s also has a cover as well as the titanium but I think they are the only ones

Not necessarily - mine doesn't.

Hi There

My fiesta engine has a plastic cover over the top you can only see the oil cap,

and the oil dipstick , plus it has a plastic tray under the engine, its a 2011 1.6 Tdci 95ps engine

I've got a boggo Zetec same as yours. No cover so I shouldn't worry.

None of the petrol engines have the cover we were used to on the mk6 (Airbox)

If you look there is a bonnet matt attached to the underside of the bonnet (Sound insulation)

The 1.6 tdci depending on the year may or may not have a cover.

yep mines the same it also has the bonnet matt/sound insulation

My '59 1.6 TDCI Titty doesn't have a cover but appears to have all the fittings. I've owned it from @6 months so it could have one originally? My previous Mk6.5(?) 1.6 TDCI ZS had a cover.
