The Mk7 Fiesta Service Costs Thread

Featured Replies

There have been several threads recently asking about service costs for the Mk7.

The purpose of this thread is for people to post their service costs, then an average can be taken and give folk an idea about how much they can expect to spend on servicing.

I'll kick off as I think mine is one of the higher milers here these days!

1st (12500): £102.31

2nd (25000): £137.14

3rd: (37500): £292.18 (included new brake pads)

4th: (50000): £151.07

All done at Smiths Garage, Pinwall.

Thanks Dan. My 3rd is due soon. Typical it looks like it might cost the most :(

My car was serviced yearly since new, its away to be 3yrs come June, however my mileage will only be around 20?

My car's booked in for [3rd] 37,500 mile service in 2 weeks - it's only 20months old!

Will be £219.99 & includes courtesy car. Allen Ford Northampton.

Oil and oil filter, Spark Plugs, Fuel Filter, Pollen/odour filter, Air filter + all the usual checks.

1st Service done about 7000 miles - £135

Dan I go there,

3rd service- £220

Benfield Ford york road Leeds 3rd service £207

And they offered to change the battery in the keyless remote fob for £18.50 which I refused. They tried the hard sell by saying the fob will need reprogramming if anyone else does it.

Changed battery when it got home and all working.

Dan I go there,

3rd service- £220

3rd service my 1st one was £220

3rd Service £265 with Brake Pads, was due to be £185 without.

Rylatt Ford in Spalding.

Also found Holiways in Durham good with warranty work.

I have my car on the 2 year ford options plan. Am I tied in to getting it serviced at Allen Ford?

Had a salesman on today offering fixed service costs.

1 year £130 (10 months at £13)

2 year £276 (23 months at £12)

What do people think? Is it worth it? Good value? Apparently if you cancel you get any spare money back.

taking a bit of interest in this subject as im due to pick up my new fiesta metal in about 10 days, cant wait! servicing doesnt seem too expensive either so happy days!

Allen Ford's current pricing:

12.5K 1st service - £169

25K 2nd service - £189

37.5K 3rd service - £229

Gates (Harlow but probably the rest of the group)

12,500 miles / 1st Year - £149

25,000 miles / 2nd Year - £179

37,500 miles / 3rd Year - £209

Scheduled Plan - 2 Years (1st and 2nd service ) - £315

Scheduled Plan - 3 Years (1st, 2nd 3rd service) - £425

Its interesting this subject has been brought up today, because I agreed to go ahead with a 33 payment plan of 15 pounds a month for my fiesta 1.6 diesel, this covers me for a full 3 years.

I was told the service costs were 1st service 152, 2nd 167 and 3rd 280 which comes to 599 in total, the plan comes to 509.66 and the monthly payments are interest free so I thought it was a fair deal. My 1st payment is May 28th so I still have time to pull out.

It seems all pay at the desk servicing costs come to about 600 over the 3 yr 36000 average milage.

Can anyone guide me on this matter as the best way to go, either pay up front or pay at the desk.

Thanks
