I am looking at buying my wife an 07/57 plate 1.6TDCi Fiesta 37500 miles on the clock and am concerned at what I have been readng about the turbo problems with this car. Honest John said "16-1-2012: Turbo problem on 1.6TDCI/1.6HDI DV6 appears to be getting worse:".

Before I leap in and buy this car, has anybody else experienced turbo problems and how common does it appear to be? Don't fancy spending out on major repairs once I have bought the car.

    I wonder if this issue is similar to those 'like myself' who seem to have a lack of power and reduced MPG of late.
