Hiya, Car Problems

Featured Replies

I recently brought a Ford Feista Style

And being a typical girl i know nout about cars

So i thought joining would help me :)

When i start my car, it all sounds normal.

However when its running, and i go to leave, it tends to make a grinding noise, im hoping its not the clutch or anything.

And my tyres seem to get battered a bit, im guessing thats the dirt track i go down everyday.

Any ideas, Thankyou :)

Amy

Does the noise appear when you put your foot on the clutch pedal?

Yeah it does, but carries on after for a bit too

Could be the clutch release bearing. You aught to budget for a new clutch with a new release bearing. Dont worry though as my sons '98 Fiat Panda has had a clutch release bearing squeeling for three years now. I will replace it when I get a spare moment.
