Advice Please.. Installing Zetec S Splitters/ Spoilers. New Shape Fiesta

Featured Replies

Hi, i hope someone can advise me as im a little confused.

Soooo here goes, ive bought the zetec s front splitter, and rear end cap bits.

On both the splitter and end caps, they have litlle lugs on. 34 on the splitter and 6 each on the end caps. Considering i have just a zetec i dont have holes in my bumper for the lugs to go into...... BUT

When i look in the instructions ( there availible on here to look at... Someone posted them)

It has a eye next to the illustration of lugs, then a knife.. To chop them off i think.

Im confused. Lol!

Also does the standard zetec spoiler brake light fit into a zetec s spoiler?

Any help will be appreciated. Thankyou.

The lugs are used by Ford when they fit the kit at the factory, if the kit is fitted after leaving the factory the lugs are just chopped off and you glue the kit on instead. I fitted a Zetec S splitter to my car, chopped the lugs off with a stanley knife and just glued it on with Sikaflex. Sorted.
