Fiesta Zetec-S Tdci Injector Issues

Hi all,

I have a 56 plate fiesta Zetec-S TDCi which had the issue where the injector seals needed to be replaced (Smoky, smelly in car, missing, etc) Have replaced the injector seals and it was ok for maybe a week, then it started again and could see one injector (one furthest away from the battery) had the carbon around the injector at the top. So this time I got a seat cutter from united diesel, stripped it all down, took out injector, cleaned everything, put the seat cutter in and it cleaned it nicely. Put new seals in and tightened the injector until it wasn't leaking anymore (tested this by using soap water and seeing where it bubbles). The car started and it was a bit jerky, but left it running for a while and went for a test drive, all ok.

We went away for the weekend, and when getting back this afternoon I started the car again to check it was still ok, but it's running as horrible as ever. Can't see anything leaking this time although don't know how long/how many miles it takes for it to show.

I am going to use it to go to work tomorrow - maybe it just needs to run for a bit, but what other options have I got? Anything else I can check or try?
