Door Sills Needed?

Featured Replies

Hi

I'm looking for a set of door sills/scuff plates for my 4 door focus mk2.5 , at present I have these little strips on the drivers and passenger side but I don't think you can class them as scuff plates as they are not big enough and do not cover the full area and the back is just blank.

Can anyone help me with the best place to look for a cheapish set?

thanks

Hi

just been looking at the lockwood set , thanks

I have a set of Lockwoods on my 3 door and they really do look the part, as well as being very good at saving the car from scuffs.

Hi again

I notice the the rear scuffs are a lot shorter than the fronts , without going out to measure do the rear plates cover most of the rear sill as in the pictures they look half the size?

Also would Ebay be best for purchasing these?

thanks

Just had a set of Lockwood's scuff plates delivered for my '12 plate Ka. Ordered Wednesday evening, delivered Friday morning. Nicely made sill scuff plates!

Hi David

Do you mind telling me where you got yours from?

thanks

i got mine from ebay. they where slightly cheaper than buying direct from lockwood when you add postage! the rear door ones are small.dont have car to hand but they are roughly 200-250mm long. do be honest they look ok to me for size . i dont think you can have them longer as the trim would sit on the radius going up the door pillars.

just checked on the lockwood site. the rear trims are 190mm long for the mk2-mk2.5 focus

they do look tempting but did you notice that they stop short of the radius down bend on the sill. the radius bend on the sill was scraped badly on my focus hence why i went for the lockwood ones

Didn't think of that. Currently I just have the standard focus ones, assume these could be just stuck on over the top???

anyone know an easy way of feeding the power cable for the ones with lights on?

Here are mine fitted today.
