Ipod Playback Sound Issue?

Featured Replies

Hi there. I have a Sony DAB h/u with the usb and aux input, however when i first got the car a month ago i could play music straight from the ipod via the ipod cable and the sound and functions would work perfectly fine, but now there is no sound what so ever, even with the AUX and the ipod cable plugged in together, I was just wondering if anybody has a solution that doesnt require me wasting time at the local dealer? Cheers (:

I believe there's a software update that removes the need to use the aux cable.

Others here will know for sure.

When i got the car i never needed the aux cable i could just use the ipod lead and it would be fine. But its not doing anything at the moment it loads up as normal, playlist etc. i go to shuffle all songs and it comes up with the track and just freezes at 00:00 and nothing happens S: i can select tracks backwards and forwards fine. But it just wont play the songs, its quite annoying especially when your on long journeys and the radio (chart music) is crap!

Try the USB update:

If that fails unplug the module for 10mins:

Also just a quick question i've not had my fiesta long what does that line in active mean on aux?

I would give the update a go yes.

Line in is when you play music through the 3.5mm jack plug next to the USB.
