Went to go to work today, opened car fine, popped back in house for somethung so locked doors with fob and it made usual click sound followed by a strange grinding sound!! only made this noise if you double clicked the lock button (indicators flash) - any ideas anyone?

    Sorry its too early ;-) the noise is coming from the rear driver door only!

    Yes, it all locks ok, just makes a strange sound when double "dead" locking it. It sounds like a grinding ratchet sound, i posted on a similar post i found on here which pointed to a fault with the deadlock mechanism....sods that mine is out of warranty
