Rear Speakers Don't Function

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have an 09 Fiesta, just the basic style model I think. The front speakers work great, but there is no sound from the rear ones. I have fiddled on with the menus and tried to fix it, but nothing seems to help. Fader (is that the right one?) is set to 0 - so it doesn't favour rear or front. When I set the fader to all rear they don't even work.

I can see that there are the little pad things where the speakers go on both sides in the rear of my car, but does it actually have speakers fitted in the rear? If so, anyone know anyway to activate them?

Thanks,

FiestaFred

NO i dont think it does, from what i remember 6 speakers come with the bluetooth audio units

^^ +1 on that

In the audio menus there is one called dsp occupancy it should be set to ALL as driver only uses the front speakers

I don't think it has rear speakers either. Get a torch and shine it brought the grill you will either see a speaker or a hole. I had a hole. Fairly easy to install stock ones from ford though.

Okay, thanks!

Checked DSP occupancy, it is set to all :( I guess it doesn't have speakers then but I will try the torch trick out.

Thanks again folks
