Ford Fiesta Style 06 Plate, Aux In Query

Featured Replies

Hi all, new here, and not so much a car expert (in fact not even a car intermediate).

I have an 06 Fiesta as the title of the thread explains, and on the Car Stereo as standard I have:

AUX as an option.

Now, I know that AUX is the function selected to have external devices connected to the sound system (MP3's, iPods etc all via a 3.5mm jack).

However, I cannot find the AUX input at all. It is not by the cigarette lighter as google searches said it may be, and neither is it in the glove box.

So really, what are my options? Would this be an expensive job for Ford to do for me, or Halfords (in the UK)

Grateful for any feedback you may be able to give me.

Regards,

Tom

Buy the cable on eBay and fit it yourself.

It'll cost about £25 for cable and a hole saw to mount the socket.
