What Floor Mats U Got In Your Mk7 ?

Featured Replies

hi

as title says what type have you got in your car ?

any pics ?

looking for ideas :)

cheers.

Standard Fiesta ones :)

1st set - Ford premium velour mats - lasted 12500 miles before a hole appeared.

2nd set - Ford premium velour mats - lasted 12500 miles before a hole appeared.

3rd set - Mr Car Mats premium with heel pad - lasted 25000 miles before a hole appeared.

4th set - Ford rubber mats, going great so far. I was worried they'd make the car feel like a tractor. They don't.

was thinking maybe paying extra for the front 2 rubber mats but i want carpet ones aswell so might buy both :)

Just to add - my standard mats have lasted 40,000miles and still going strong.

Take you high heels off before getting in the car Dan and stop digging them through the carpet ;)

lol. I have the fiesta carpet ones aswell - and from around the 12500 mile mark a hole developed in my drivers mat too.

I'm gonna go for the same mats again tho as I think they look good.

Going to be getting the standard mats in soon.

From what I can see only the drivers has the actual Fiesta logo on it though.

I have the standard Ford Motorsport ones, they came with the car - black with blue stitching around the edge, have silver emblems at the top on the passenger side and the rear of the drivers side, look real nice

Just to add - my standard mats have lasted 40,000miles and still going strong.

Please let us know your secret. I'm on my third set of mats & after just 20,000 miles the third set are already showing a 'clutch foot' hole as the two previous mats did. This third set I bought in July last year from a fleabay seller were supposedly guaranteed for 2 years. Time to contact them for a replacement I think.

And no, I don't wear high heels, well maybe just at weekends

As it seems impossible to buy the driver's side mat on its own I have 2 spare passenger mats in near new condition, maybe I could swap these with our European friends, they don't have the fixing clips of course.

Maybe Dan has the answer with his rubber 'gimp' mats :)

I have the original ones (material got quite dirty) but I will change to the genuine rubber ones today.
