Program A Fiesta Mk7 Flip Key For A Mk6?

Featured Replies

Is this possible? I have seen a Mondeo guide on FordWiki which does the same thing. Would it be compatible with the GEM module in the MK6?

Any answers would be appreciated.

Cheers!

It is possible to add a flip key but you need to buy a new one as the transponders need to be brand new for it to work.

Thanks. Does buy a new one mean buying from a Ford dealer for £100 or more?

I'm not sure if your key blade is a flat one or the tibbe type but if it's a blade one get this and get it cut and coded by an auto locksmith.

Twenty minute job and much cheaper than Ford would.
