Iv seen Pree's guide and stuff but I'm still pretty unsure / confused to what i actually need buy onto of the DRL's. Do i need to install switches? is it a legal requirement?

Also my cars 'Vista Blue' i will definitely have upload pics as I'm slacking... But I'm unsure whether to go for the 'Blue and black parts (dark ST rims/chrome lip/grills sprayed black) look or the clean, chrome / white look?

Hi mate, excellent choice on modification, i have fitted these DRL's following Preee's guide too and i have also fitted a rocker switch to the loom not because they are illegal no, theses drl kits are 100% legal and E marked so no problems their, it was personal choice that it would be nice to switch them off in the event that they control moduile ever fails and they begin to flash like a strobe or somthing, it is nice to have the added feature of being able to switch them off from the comfort of the drivers seat. and personally id go for the gloss black grills with the chrome/white look B) also if your car is a diesel model or maybe their is space at the rear of the battery box in the petrol model too but, the battery box is bigger allowing the drl moduiles to be fitted to the rear left hand side of the battery box leaving them completly hidden from view, a bit of extra work removing the battery etc. but you only fit them once and i reckon its well worth the extra time when fitting.

Cheers Lenny, Do you know where i can get a rocker switch from? I'm literally so new to all this. Il get one of my pals to fit it all for me as i know i could easily genuinely f**k it up. Got my overlays just, happy... but raining today so will save it for hopefully a sunny tomorrow. Will go take some pictures of my big standard baby in a little bit so you can all see her as she evolves.

you will only need 4 metres of twin core cable because you can use the red for the feed from the drl power supply to the switch, then use the black for the drl power return from the switch.

10amp cable (set QTY to 2 when purchasing in order to recieve 4metres of cable)
