The first car I drove was a 1l Yaris 1999. Was my dads old car and drove it for half a year after I passed. First car I actually paid for is my 1.6 Focus Zetec S 2011 and was £2500 cheaper on insurance than the Yaris. Had the Focus for 8 months now and still amazes me every time I look at it :)

My first car was a pale green Ford Anglia that wouldnt do more than 40mph without shaking itself to peices but it was ok for poodling round the trading estates learning to control a car, we quickly got shot of it and bought a Mk 1 Escort 1300L which I had for about 2 years until the day before I took my test when I was confident of passing I bought a Marina 1.8TC, It had twin SU Carbs and went like stink !(the reason my test took so long to happen was the fact that I was in the Navy and could only squeeze lessons in whilst on leave every 4-5 months.

The Mk 1 Escort and Dads Cortina Mk 3 (my little brother Chris in the drivers seat! He's now a driving instructor!)
