Rear Air Duct Vents On A Ford Focus

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if the Hatchback Focus (2006) model has rear air vents behind the rear bumper ? I'm getting exhaust fumes inside the vehicle when driving with the windows open and wondered if there are ventilation vents at the rear of the vehicle which perhaps should have flaps fitted to prevent this from happening ?

I remember that my old Granada's and Scorpios etc. used to have such vents just behind ithe rear bumper and these had flaps on them which prevented back flow...sometiem they got lazy and or fell off ! I wondered if the Focus models also had such things.

Any thoughts ?

I know theres a little rubber panel flap under the carpet wall in the boot each side, could be coming through there? Mine was a little loose, it's got just a sticky backing on it, could easily fall off.
