Engine Problem

With prices rising all the time I have started using my local motor factor for the spart parts. Much much cheaper. If you went down the 'change the head' route you will need new gaskets etc these places can be a helluva saving. Get jenned up and do as much of your own repairs as you can. I used to do my own a few years ago but with work being so busy i used local garages .....not cheap but useful. Head removal is not difficult but if the valve has damage a piston more trouble but have a look. You will have to fit a new belt and (tensioner on your model ?) and time the engine. This bit is more tricky ...a few years ago we would get cyl 4 tdc with valves rocking and set cyol 1 to firing. you may get the answer to timing here on the forum. good luck. hub nuts???
