Bagheera
I'm gonna have the wheels checked and aligned this weekend. Does anyone have the original values for all wheels? Mine is a 2008 Focus 1.6 TDCI hatch.

Stoney871
The settings should be standard for all Mk2/2.5.

Bar72
Just looking at getting 4 wheel Hunter alignment on my Focus also so does anyone know if curb weight means no weights on seats? is a half tank of fuel required or 2/3rd tank or doesn't it matter? just spoke to local tyre fitter who also has a Hunters machine and he sounded lost when I started on about wanting 70 kilo weights on each front seat. thanks in advance..

If you have an F1 car then every fraction of a degree matters, but not on a 2009 Focus 1.8 Curbweight is the weight of the vehicle including a full tank of fuel and all standard equipment. It does not include the weight of any passengers, cargo, or optional equipment. Curbweight is considered the closest weight to the actual weight of the vehicle.
mjt
Curbweight is not the weight of the vehicle but KERBweight is.

Now in this case i would normally agree, BUT I deliberately changed the spelling to match that of @Bar72 who in fairness most probably spelt it 'curb' and not kerb because the Ford document/table posted way back on the 6th July 2012 by @raskL and reposted by @Bagheera actually spells it Curb Weight. However since it has caused you concern here is the original, unedited document: Kerbweight is the weight of the vehicle including a full tank of fuel and all standard equipment. It does not include the weight of any passengers, cargo, or optional equipment. Kerbweight is considered the closest weight to the actual weight of the vehicle. 1
mjt
Apologies, the two forms do seem to be interchangeable, albeit Curb being more American. (and I object in principle to the corruption of the English language with American spelling).
