Mk7 Lower Grille Loose At Corners ?

Featured Replies

hi

used the guide on here to remove my grille and it can off with a little sharp pull no problems :)

but when i fitted my replacement grille i found it not so hard to pull off if pulled by the corners

what i want to know is could i have fitted it wrong to my car ?

and will slightly bending the plastic clips help it any ?

thanks.

Make sure all the clips are in, I had that problem to start with, they're a bit fiddly and a pain but go in easy enough.

but it sounds like it does clip in just not got any grip at all ?

should i push it a little more see if it clips in but it does sound like it is cliped in but will try pushing it and if it dont work remove the grille bend the clips and see if it helps.

I haven't fitted one yet, but plan to.

If you had the chrome surround before, and haven't fitted it to the new one, could that be the reason it's looser? As it looks like a snugger fit.
