I'm buying a fiesta titanium s 1600 3 door , what I want to know if anybody has fitted or who knows how the genuine ford roof bars fit onto roof ? seen picture in fiesta broucher but unclear how you fit onto rubber guttering ? or does that come off? is there pre drilled holes underneath? once off can the rubber be put back? what do you get in pack when you buy roof bars? forgot to mention car is on a 09 plate .any help would be great many thanks from a newbie fiesta owner soon?

    I too am interested in this. I've been looking at Thule bars but am a bit unsure how securely they fit on an how easy it is to take then on and off as required.

    Had a look on net and seen the genuine ford ones looks like they come with replacement roof strips with bits missing then divers to put back on when you remove your bars? going to dealers to confirm .

    Got an e.mail from ford parts online showing all instructions and how to fit and 22 pound cheaper than dealers.
