could someone kindly take a pic of the door seal on the drivers door particularly the part sitting to the outside of the car theres 2 lips and im trying to see if both lips should be tucked back into the channel or not if you slightly move it toward the drivers seat is it all tucked in or is there a small lip running round the door thats exposed if you wouldnt mind

cant do that off my phone stuck at work. if you open the drivers door the seal around the actual door at the very top above the window if you stand with youphe back facing the drivers door and gently move that seal towards you thats the bit mate

the plot thickens after looking at my workmates ford and 2 others the seals on those the black lip on pic3 is tucked in and not visible at all so the question is that lip exposed on youre car or not

Il have a closer look in the morning, I presume the lip your refering too is the one just above the tips of my fingers?

If so, I can only see the lip if I pull the seal back like I have done in the picture. How else can it be?

yeah thats the one on the others i have looked at its tucked under a metal lip on the door

Checked all my doors and that lip is not tucked into anything on any of them.

hmmm i tried it last nite and you cbn do it with no damage which kinda makes me wonder checked a fusion fiesta and ka all tucked in from the factory could this be why so many get wind noise?
