Hi Guys,

Some little vandal last night keyed the rear quarter panel on the drivers side.

Really annoyed.

Going to book it into ford's bodyshop tomorrow.

Anybody any idea how much ford will charge and how long will it be with the bodyshop?

    Could you not have tried some of that Mantis scratch remover from Asda or called Chips Away first?

    Ford will probably charge you for a full panel respray.

    As above, go down the ChipsAway and local bodyshop route first for quotes.

    Had the exact same thing on my Fiesta when it was three days old, in the same place. I noticed it when I went to the dealer to sort some paperwork out and they agreed to do it for cost price as goodwill. I guess that's just a one-off though. I was worried about colour matching and it looking awful, you can still see the indent of the scratch but the respray is really good.

    Chips Away did a repair on the Fiesta last week for a scrape on the back bumper, think they charged ~£150. We were really impressed with their service and it only took a morning, really well recommended. Perhaps give them a ring?
