Rear Washer Jet Issue

Featured Replies

Does anyone have an issue whereby they use their front washers, but some leaks out the rear washer?

Tis annoying looking in the rear and seeing a streak of leaked out washer fluid

Yes mine leaks a little, just enough that if I spray the front windscreen and then park facing up hill there is a dribble down the back window when I return the the car. I'm assuming it is because there will be one motor which spins in opposite directions depending on which window you are spraying and a little goes the wrong way as it spins up. Same happened on my previous Fiats so don't think a few drops are that abnormal, just a bit annoying.

It's like a little stream and when the water evaporates you get a white streak of fluid

I have noticed mine also leaks from the rear washer jet, it also leaves a white residue on the glass which does take a bit of cleaning off, also on a recent unusual hot afternoon it also looked as though it had dribbled out leaving a long streak on the glass.

Never had this issue with any previous car so it does seem odd.
