Are 17" Alloys To Big For My 2011 Style?

I recently got my fiesta a 2012 plate style in red, and was wondering if i get 17" alloys it will look like a tractor haha, i will also lower it about 40mm just wondering if anyone has done it and could help with advice or pics, thanks.

    17s should fit without too much bother as long as you try to keep about the same rolling radius as your standard wheels and tyres. A 40mm drop might be a little too much 30mm should be about right
