Centre Console

Featured Replies

Whilst cleaning my car today I realised my centre console was loose so I figured I would just tighten the screws but they just spin this is what it looks like

I was wondering if there was anything I could put in instead so it wilk tighten up

I dOnt want to buy new ones and end up in the same situation which im guessing I will think I might just put bigger screws in them so they carny move

I see, these look wider.-

Failing that try taping some matchsticks or flexible plastic inside the rivet so the screw will push the rivet out further.

I'm thinking about just taping the hole and putting a normal bolt in it

Fit a rivnut.
