Remap Query

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I'm gonna be looking to remap my mk7 1.6 tdci, but what do you recommend I do before that, so I can get the most out of the remap? Anything? Or just go with the standard set up?

Panel air filter is the only thing you can do really. (ie K&N)

Ahh ok, that's planned anyways. So nothing like a better flowing exhaust? (ie stainless one?)

Hi Peange, can I ask the reason for wishing to up grade your tdci.

Is the engine suffering from flat spots at low revs.

Of course if you do re map it would be prudent to inform your insurers.

Cheers.

It's only recently bought so I cant really answer that. Really, I just want to know the steps to take should I decide that I want the little bit more grunt. And of course I'll tell my insurer, I do work for them after all!
