Featured Replies

Hi

I have a 2010 fiesta with 7000 miles on the clock i have just purchased the car, I seem to have a vibration through the clutch pedal when fully pressed down it seem to vibrate once I move it to the bight seems fine. Gear selection is fine, anyone else come across this problem.

Have looked at it further it seems to be coming through the pedal from the enging vibration ? Anyone had this before

A vibrating clutch pedal is usually a symptom of a dual mass flywheel, (strange seeing as a DMF is supposed to smooth out vibrations from a Diesel engine).

Excessive vibration through the pedal will be a sign of misalignment of the flywheel and clutch plate due to wear or a failing DMF, but as your car is so young that will be very unlikely.

Baically as long as the vibration is minimal i don't think you have anything to worry about.

I have a vibration through mine and I noticed this on all the TDCI I test drove and have through nothing of it. Another 'Fiesta thing' to get used to.
