Buying A Fiesta 1.25 2004

hi,

as the title say's, i'm looking at a fiesta 1.25 on sunday ,

its for my daughter who has just passed her test.

it has fsh with 44k 10 months mot etc, they say timing belt done but no reciept ?

anything else i should look for..?

    My son has an 04 1.25 Finesse which has been diagnosed with a possible core plug leak. It seems this is quite common, causing water to build up around the spark plugs followed by misfiring and the engine warning light.

    Check the coolant expansion tank carefully. The coolant should be clear, coloured, usually red on these, and the expansion bottle should be clean with no signs of oil. If it is empty, or fulll of clear water then beware of potential problems.
