Ford Focus 2001 Oil Change

Featured Replies

Hi , I am about to do an oil change on my car (2001 1.6 ZETEC) but see that Formula F 5W/30 is the only oil Ford do now. I used to use Formula E. Is it okay to use this fully synthetic oil in the car. Also has the oil filter changed. I used to use EFL 600 but it appears that Ford is now using a smaller Filter. Ford Part number 1714387. Can anyone confirm this is true? Thanks All, Raj

Ford recommended oil is Castrol Magnatec Fully Synthetic 5w30.
