Child Safety Lock Fault

Hi everyone.

My 2009 Fiesta Style+ which is 2 weeks out of the warranty has developed a child safety lock problem. I just bought the car (from The Car Shop) and just noticed that the child safety locks does not work on both rear doors. I followed the manual but still no joy.

Anyone ever come across that issue???

    You should have a warranty from the car shop where you bought it, If you have only just bought it as you say, I would return it and save yourself the hassle of having to sort it out yourself.

    Agreed, a key security element for people with Children is the child lock, and if its not working then its a fault tha renders the car "Not Fit For Purpose" and if you need to quote that, with a threat of returning the car for a full refund (in the event of poor co-operation!) then you should find a bit more movement will occur!
