Best Bulbs To Buy? (Whiter Hedlights & De-Tangoing)

Featured Replies

Any recomendations/links for the best bulbs to buy. Want to de-tango all indicator lights and want whiter lights all round (sidelight, headlights and number plate lights) cheers.

Silvertec bulbs for the indicators, nightbreakers or Philips for the headlights.

You can choose some good LED bulbs for the number plate and Cree Q5 bulbs for reverse and fog lights.

What particular model of the nightbreakers and silvertec are they? I dont have the car yet so am unsure of what to get.... The noghtbreaker h7's are on ebay would they fit?

The silvertech on ebay are either 581 offset or 343 oppisite. Any of those fit? Cheers

What car are you getting?

I'm on my mobile device so can't see profiles.

Sorry. The fiesta s1600 2010.

Yes osram nightbreaker plus h7 think that's the main beam and h1 is the dipped might be the other way around will fit and from what I've seen they are very good

I’ve got these for side lights (www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Super-Bright-Xenon-White-Sidelight-LED-Bulbs-Replacement-501-W5W-T10-Canbus-Car-/280823204410?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item41625e0a3a). They’re bright, blue’ish and I get a lot of impressed folks commenting on them and I’m running Ring Automotive Ultima 120% Xenon’s for main and dipped (they’re getting a lot cheaper now on eBay too). They’re the brightest I’ve used and have to recommend them. I’ve gone LED for the indicators but the Silvertech’s are a good suggestion, definitely. I did the same as Stoney for the Cree Q5 reverse bulbs, bit more pricey for decent ones but worth every penny.

I’m going to give some spiderlit/fan style brake/tail bulbs a go but if you want to be seen properly from behind at winter then Philips Vision Plus bulbs are a big improvement over the stock Ford bulbs.

Good guide here I found useful: www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/12391-guide-mk7-fiesta-bulb-change
