i wish i had the same ammount of Red S'es that you have lol but their not cheap.

some silvatec w5w bulbs would look good in your side repeaters too.

new side repeaters on order with a smokey tint i get the 5quid s badges from ebay they look the same as fords

only thing i do notice is the garage door doesnt sit flush even though its in correctly then i had a dumb moment and realised if it was flush it wouldnt have room to push open duh

Great job. Looks the part. I like the LED's too, Creative.

Great job Arthur, bit of a dumb question, does the small slots between the heated rear and front screen switches have any function, or are the there just for decoration?

Thanks, makes a lot of sense.

A Citroen Xsara I used to own had the same thing but never knew what it was for.

They should put these things in the handbook, for geeks like us who want to know...

It make sense, But has anybody had a look behind the slots to see what is there? Sometimes these slots house a microphone connected to the radio to adjust the volume as the cabin noise rises.

  • Author

thats possible also as mine does go up dependant on road noise

There's nothing behind it at all

  • Author

not attatched to the back most likely whatever it is is tucked away ford dont put things on for no reason if they can save money

Here's a pic from the back of it. Trying this on the phone so hope it works

That cone shape from the slots does appear to have a purpose or it would not have that shape, maybe it only has a use on some trim levels, or does it funnel noise or air to some other sensor?

it could be for climate control and normally house a small fan that sucks the air in to check humidity and interior temp
