Throttle Body Issue - Is Part Same For Diesel And Petrol Engine ?

Featured Replies

Hi There,

My wife broke down in our 2002 1.4 Diesel Fiesta MK6 the other day and after getting her home and having a look the man form the AA suggested it was the throttle body that was at fault. I'm trying to locate one on Ebay and wondered if anyone could tell me if the throttle body for the Petrol engine was the same as the diesel engine. I can locate what I think it the petrol one but not sure if this would be ok in a diesel. Petrol one here...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
