Fail Mot On Led Sidelights ?

Featured Replies

Hi all

Is my 2008 facelift Focus likely to fail its MOT on LED sidelights?

I have the 360 degree ones installed.

Cheers, I have the MOT next weekend

Unless the LEDs are e-marked which I'm not aware of any aftermarket once they would be a failure, however it will be at the testers discretion if he's noticed or bothered by them.

carnt see it being a failure unless they are different colour than white, but as stated its mainly upto the inspector ;)

Thanks all, I think to be safe I will change them to standard for MOT to be safe, then change back afterwards!!

never had a problem before, might be an idea to leave them in and if it passes you know you wont have to go to the hassle of changing them every year

My Mk6.5 Fiesta had no problems with having LED sidelights in on it's MOT.

did it pass >?<
