Fiesta Mk7 - Audio

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm the happy fiesta sport owner. But unfortunately my front right speaker has given up. The system is composed by two large speakers (this one whos broken) and two small tweeter in front and also two speakers in the back of the car (I don't know if every fiesta have the the same configuration).

I have disassembled the door, following iNath's video, the broken speaker is an 16.5 cm (arround 6.49"). The connector is a kind of rectangle with four pins. But now I don't know what speaker to buy : do I need to change every component from my audio system or just buy a two 'coaxial speaker' ?

Thanks for your help.

Unless you buy the exact speaker from ford or breakers yards you will need an adaptor plate as the originals are an odd size and new plug to replace the triangle one

You might be able to find them on the Internet But if you don't want to pay dealer prices car breakers or maybe eBay would be your best bet
