studly
I spotted a fezzi with the mudflaps fitted as i was passing my dealer on the way home from work and i'm not too sure about them tbh. Maybe it's just one of those things that if they were fitted as standard you wouldn't be too bothered after awhile ......i think i'll leave my fezzi unmolested <_<
LeeZetecS
Bog stardard they look abit plasticy.. I'm thinking maybe if someone like mountune could play around with them - make them more attractive, they could include them as part of there dress up kit. Steamrunner
Just ordered some standard Ford mudflaps (front and back) off eBay for £46 delivered. Will let you know how hard they are to fit :) How did the fitting go? Did you have to drill holes or anything? Thinking of getting a set for my wife's car when it arrives - don't know whether to have the dealer fit them or get them off eBay and do it myself... tvAddict
How did the fitting go? Did you have to drill holes or anything? Thinking of getting a set for my wife's car when it arrives - don't know whether to have the dealer fit them or get them off eBay and do it myself... Do you realise that post is almost a year old? I fitted my mudflaps a couple of weeks ago - no drilling - just one "self-tapping" screw that has to be screwed into plastic for the fronts. The rest is secured by studs/clips. It is much easier if you can take the wheels off - I couldn't as I have no jack :-( The hardest bit was taking out the old studs for the rears - you have to pull out the middle section (or push through from behind). It took about 30 minutes.
Steamrunner
Do you realise that post is almost a year old? Yep! I came to the thread via Google, after I posted I did a proper search within the site and found a bunch more posts (including one very detailed and helpful post with pics and everything) and forgot to come back and delete my post on this thread... Oops! Cheers for the reply, though, think I will defo get a set and then fit them myself whenever the car turns up.
