Focus Stalling When Clutch Depressed And Other Problems

Featured Replies

Hi guys new here and i was wondering if anyone could help at all. I bought a mk facelift focus in january it has the 1.6 zetec se engine and is now on 118,000 miles. It has had the cambelt changed as well as oil, new filters but not a fuel filter and is due new plugs and leads soon. 3 times now since january the car has stalled as i am braking. The first time entering a round about after braking i dropped from 5th to 3rd and the car cut out, the second was approachig a junction and i was changing from 3rd to 2nd and finally yesterday it cut out again as i turned a corner. All times the car has restarted with no issue straight away. the cars idle is steady but i took off and cleaned the IDC however it really was not dirty. The other thing is when starting the car it has trouble starting if the clutch is depressed however if i dont touch the clutch the car starts easily. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causing this?
