Front And Rear Badge Query

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure this has been posted before but here I go...

I have a W reg Fiesta that had a tin/metal badge on the front grill, which when I took it off left a plastic 'lump' that it was stuck to and shaped around... I'm not sure if this was standard and I have no idea if you can get them any more, so I've changed my grill for one with a plastic badge.

My problem now is my rear badge is fading and the resin coat has come off. I want to change it for a plastic one but I'm worried it'll leave a plastic base like the last.

Has anyone had the same problem? How have you solved it?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated!
